I didn’t start out rich. In fact, I grew up on the East Coast of Canada
in a fishing town with zero opportunity. I did everything I thought you were supposed to do. I went to college and got good grades, got a job and started making money. And like many, once I made some money, I started getting approved for all kinds of credit cards and lines of credit. I didn’t understand how debt really worked at the time, and I thought I was rich having access to all this money.
So I got to work on a plan to strike it rich FAST. I took all the money from my first few jobs and credit cards and started betting on sports. I quickly lost all my money and had put myself $30,000 in debt
